I made this to use up flatbreads that I had, but when I came to serve I realised they had gone mouldy, so we had it without flatbreads. The combination of flavours was really nice; and I really enjoyed the dish. However, it seemed like there was way too much date for the amount of yoghurt - next time I'd halve the dates, and add some fresh mint instead of just dried.
Very nice recipe, not quite special enough to make it to my "must cook again list", but still good. Needs lots of yoghurt to make it moist enough for the pittas.
I liked the dressing and pickled cucumber, but the "soy seeds" were a bit weird and I didn't particularly like the flavour they added. Would have been nicer with some candied walnuts or something.
This was good but uses SO MUCH OIL. I think I would try to cook the potatoes and onions with less oil next time. Also don't forget to season liberally, mroe than you thiknk is necessary, because it's never enough.
