Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Chardonnay and Chambord

    • Jane on February 08, 2024

I liked this on first sip but became rather bored by it and decided I would rather drink a straight Chardonnay. It was a bit sweet for me. I'll maybe try it with crème de mure (blackberry) or crème de cassis (blackcurrant) which may be a bit less sweet. Note there is a mistake in the quantity of wine - it should be 0.75 cup not 1.5 cups (which would be a rather large cocktail being half a bottle of wine!).

  • Cucumber Collins

This was a lovely long cocktail. I can see this becoming a summer favorite. I enjoy the Hendricks/cucumber combination and the St. Germaine adds a nice floral note.
