      OMG this was fantastic! As soon as I saw the post on insta I had to make it. It has all the flavours of Hainese chicken rice, with marginally less pfaff. The chicken was deliciously moist and I got a bit of brown on the skin while the rice was so good my beloved thought it was better than the chicken (and he is a committed carnivore!). I did use 50/50 stock and water to cook the chicken. Definitely one to repeat.

      Ugly, but delicious vegan lentil dish. This made a nice hearty meal for a chilly day. Will repeat.

      We loved this. Served it as a side dish with flounder and then again with salmon and it was fantastic. The flavors worked so well together. Increased the garlic slightly. The tahini sauce really wonderful with the lentils. We turned the leftovers into lentil soup using homemade vege broth and thinned out the leftover tahini sauce to drizzle on top. It was another great meal.
