Notes about Recipes in this book

  • "Just the Tips" strawberry martini

    • lolako on April 25, 2026

Couldn't find white chocolate liqueur, but did find white chocolate strawberry moonshine. Tried original recipe, and found it too alcoholy. Adjusted to 1 oz vanilla vodka, 1/2 oz creme de cacao, 1 1/2 oz white chocolate strawberry moonshine, and 1 oz strawberry puree. Served for Galentines. Guests loved it. I wasn't that enamored.

  • Walnut merguez peppadews

    • lolako on April 25, 2026

Made for Galentines. 1 hour was not enough time to get the walnuts to a meaty consistency, so the "meat" was crunchy. Guests loved them. I will try again, but soak the walnuts over night.
