Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Shrimp and pea pancakes

    • mpo on April 29, 2025

My “pancake” got stuck to the pan so became more of a pile than a pancake. I went with more of an Asian direction, with Trader Joe’s wontons and sautéed greens.

  • Scallion-speckled rice

    • MollyPellecchia on July 05, 2025

This is delicious. Definitely a repeat. Next time will ‘toast’ the scallions until golden as I undercooked them.

  • Pork and cucumber stir-fry

    • Stephenn31 on May 24, 2025

Solid recipe. I loved the idea of the pork patties, to give a mix of sizes and textures to the pork. Next time maybe I'd add a bit of the oyster sauce to the pork patties. A great way to use/eat cucumbers. Served over mashed cauliflower (leftovers) but I thought it would be better over rice.
