We compared 3 fog cutter recipes and this was our least favorite. It's the same recipe as in the older Trader Vic's Bartender's Guide, except that one calls for light Puerto Rican rum instead of silver (I used silver) and specifically mentions sweet sherry, not just sherry (I used amontillado). We found this version too tart and can't believe it's the true Trader Vic's recipe, having enjoyed this cocktail there in the past. That one was definitely sweeter.
