Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Arugula and bacon quiche

    • things.hannahlikes on May 12, 2026

Used asparagus instead of arugula. Bacon from the freezer to save time. Needed extra cooking time. Good once it was set.

  • Sugar cookies

    • Lissalana on January 20, 2026

There is something seriously wrong with this recipe. The main flavor is baking powder and I think it may be an error to call for a tablespoon of baking powder. I looked at sugar cookie recipes in other cookbooks and for similar amounts of flour and other ingredients they only call for 1 teaspoon of baking powder. I won’t use this recipe again.
