This book is proving it's worth. I made the chicken curry. It was easy to follow (grinding spices, chopping fresh ginger, garlic etc) and extremely aromatic and tasty. I made double and the next day it was fabulous. I wish someone would hurry and index it as I can see myself using the book on a regular basis.

Another smashing little book I picked up in my local Oxfam bookshop. Tonight I did the Daube du Boeuf and by heck it was good. I layered bacon, onions, carrot, tomatoes, beef; nestled in garlic cloves and Bouquet Garni - tipped over 125 ml red wine and left it all day - 100 degrees oven. 7 hours. Oooh, delicious! So darned easy too ????
