    Balsamic chicken bento (pg 251) -- this is considered a traditional bento box. The vegetable (green beans) is cooked with ground pork. The soy-balsamic flavor was not as convincingly traditional as soy-black vinegar would have been. All the elements were fine but it didn't come together for me as a cohesive bento box. As for 5 colors, 5 cooking methods, 5 flavors ...I have to stretch to find them.
