  • Shaved rutabagas with butter and black pepper

      Good use of rutabaga (I got a few in my CSA and did not know what to do with them). Shaving them is a little labor-intensive (I used a vegetable peeler). Caramelizing them develops really good flavors. Served with steak. Picture on eGullet: http://egullet.org/p1875295
