Can substitute Bibb lettuce for butter lettuce; champagne vinegar for rice vinegar; and Romano cheese or Parmesan cheese for queso añejo. See recipe for variations.

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Very tasty - I was honestly expecting to be underwhelmed, but we enjoyed this a lot. Simple and yummy. (Used less oil and would again - did not see the need for a 3:1 ratio.)
