Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Very tender and flavorful meatballs. I used 80% ground beef and got 37 balls which I sprayed with olive oil and baked in the oven at 375F for 15 minutes. I dusted the meatballs very lightly with flour as I worried that too much flour might thicken the sauce too much. As it turned out, I should have used a heavier hand on the dusting because the sauce was a bit thin. I used dark raisins for the couscous because that was all I had.

We loved this! The flavors were wonderful in both the meatballs (I used ground beef) and the sauce. I thickened the sauce a bit as it seemed too thin. Don't be put off by the number of ingredients and steps in this...it's worth it! And the meatballs and sauce can be made ahead.

Excellent recipe. Used lamb. Both meatballs and sauce were fragrant and savory. Really great.

This was a very good recipe. The meatballs were well seasoned. The sauce was nice and different. I broiled the meatballs which worked well. I used a 93% lean ground beef which led to meatballs which were a little dry but still tasty.

Very tasty! I'll make again, but instead of frying will bake the meatballs. I didn't appreciate the added greasiness. (RMS-K)
