Rare-seared tuna with crushed fennel from One Good Dish: The Pleasures of a Simple Meal by David Tanis

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

This was a delicious and easy dish to make. It went perfectly as Jane suggested with the olive oil roasted fennel with tomatoes and white beans. The recipe is from Bon Appetit https://www.bonappetit.com/recipe/olive-oil-roasted-tomatoes-and-fennel-with-white-beans. Highly recommended - will make again.

This was good. Simple and fast (apart from 30 minutes marinating). Nice mix of flavors - crushed fennel seeds, garlic, rosemary, red pepper flakes and fennel fronds. Quick sear in hot pan and it's done. I served it with olive-oil roasted fennel, tomatoes, and white beans. Lovely meal.
