Mustard-grilled chicken with spinach, pine nuts, pecorino, and soft egg from The A.O.C. Cookbook (page 163) by Suzanne Goin

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Notes about this recipe

I found this to be pretty mediocre. The chicken didn't have a lot of flavor despite the amount of mustard in the marinade. I didn't find the pecorino budino to have much flavor either. The best part was the salad. I didn't really find the pine nuts added much of anything.

Wow, this was really good. The pecorino pudding was silky and wonderful, and made for a lovely balance with the salad and the chicken. The breadcrumbs were so good, and the chicken was wonderfully flavorful. The egg on top was perfection. A fair bit of work with all the layers, but the end result was wonderful.

This was divine, with the salad being my favorite part.
