Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    Interesting little recipe. It definitely gives the impression of a pate in terms of texture and was a welcome addition to the mushroom bahn mi from the same book. I worried the curry would be odd but it adds just enough of a savoury note.
