    I made this again using Trader Joe's brand cherry peppers for the peppadews, and concluded that they must be especially spicy! While I enjoyed the heat, and my husband also liked the dish, it was too much for our five-year-old. Taste test your peppers first if you prefer a milder dish.

    I substituted chicken for the beef, a good alternative here. The mix of different peppers are really fun and flavorful, but not too spicy. We especially enjoy the peppadews, but it's the mix of tastes and textures that make the dish.
