Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    I could not be bothered to purée this soup or make the flavoured oil or crispy garnish on a busy weekday evening after work, so I left it as a chunky broth & added in all the ingredients. It came out as a homelier but tasty version.
