    Loved this - friends made it for me last weekend, and I cooked it at home today. Lovely, deep flavours - don’t skip the cocoa! - and so easy to make. I made it with puy lentils, pearl barley and quinoa, used chicken stock instead of vegetable, and garnished it with sour cream, cheddar and avocado instead thyme oil. This will be a staple from now on.

    I love this recipe - making it again with slightly different grains and some corn bread -it’s rich and savoury and looks oddly like the traditional minced meat version. My previous attempts at veggie chilli have involved too many dried pulses ….

    This is just ok. I have made much better chillis then this. Won't repeat again.
