    I made this with some kind of unidentified savoy-esque cabbage. At first when I tasted partway through cooking it was mostly just very bitter. After getting to the lemon zest/seasoning stage it started to taste good (it needed a really good wack of salt). But the bitterness was still too pronounced for me so I added some runny honey - which really finished it off nicely and took a good deal of that overwhelming bitterness away. I would make this again - with the added honey!
