    Without fail, this is my favorite black bean recipe. And yes, it is good enough that I now save bacon fat so I can use it in this bean recipe. Just watch those summertime habaneros! You can end up making your beans a bit too spicy if you don’t watch out. (My taste, of course.) Wonderful, and worth seeking out good fresh beans at the health food store for this recipe.
