Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    Not cut it yet but cake sank in the middle. Expecting it to taste good though!

    Excellent loaf cake (pound cake). And beautiful with the icing, black sesame seeds, and lime zest!

    Delicious. Crushing the sesame seeds brought out the flavor, although I wouldn't have minded more sesame. My self-rising flour had lost its leavening so I added an extra 1.5 tsp baking powder; that, and using a lower protein flour, is probably why my cake didn't have a nice crown. Although the batter only filled the pan halfway, my cake took 50 min to bake.

    A lovely pound cake. No one flavor is overwhelming, although I did not put the icing on it.
