    Tasty and easy, but a bit sweet. I’d make a few changes if I made this again. This says it serves 6, but I think 4 is more realistic. The recipe has 5 Tbsps of vegetable oil and I think that could be cut in half easily. There are 2 Tbsp in the sauce and 3 are used to cook the filling. I cut the oil in the filling down to 2 Tbsps, but even less would have been fine. I also think it was a little saucier than it needed to be; I like the suggestion from anya_sf to add more vegetables.

    I cut the sauce back to 1/3 and the meat mixture to 1/2 (using 8 oz ground pork + 2 oz mild Italian sausage) and those amounts were perfect for the 2 of us. I always sub celery in for water chestnuts (same crunch and for us, better flavour) and we ate this wrapped in romaine leaves. With a veggie laden pile of spicy noodles on the side, this was a delicious dinner choice and a definite repeat.

    This is one of the better chicken lettuce wrap recipes out there. It's definitely on the sweeter side though. I end up cutting the sweet chili sauce a bit because the hoisin already adds plenty of sugar.

    Added extra mushrooms, some zucchini and made extra sauce. Tasty and healthy. Would be great with fried, crunchy topping but great with sliced raddish and cabbage too.

    This was spicy, sweet, crunchy, fresh, healthy and delicious. There wasn't a single thing we disliked about this meal. The lettuce is fiddly and messy - this would be good over rice or even in a tortilla. I visited a friend last week who served something similar over a baked potato and that was very good too.

    I served the filling over rice, rather than as lettuce wraps, as I love carbs. Very tasty! I also sometimes add more vegetables, such as chopped carrots or peas.
