Vermont oatmeal maple-honey bread from The King Arthur Flour Baker's Companion: The All-Purpose Baking Cookbook (page 203) by King Arthur Flour

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Can substitute brown sugar for maple sugar.

Made half a recipe for one loaf. Used stand mixer for kneading. Dough was very wet even though I added extra flour. Turned out really good. It is a bit sweet. I wouldn't use it for sandwiches.

How did I forget this bread? I used to make it a lot, but I forgot about this recipe. Anyways, I made it again for the first time in likely a decade, and it's still as good as I remember. It's a very filling bread with warmth. The whole family loved it.

The bread has good maple and oatmeal flavor. It was a bit sweeter than I'd like. The crumb makes it a bit difficult to slice.
