Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    Delicious sauce! I didn't even have an apple and was too lazy to make the bacon and it still came out delicious. Also, had to use dried tarragon! Next time I'll do it all correctly. I did brine the chops for about 2 hours before cooking, so even though they were slightly overcooked, still juicy. Will make often. (I bet the sauce would work well on some fish, too.)
