Whole-wheat sandwich bread from Bread Toast Crumbs: Recipes for No-Knead Loaves & Meals to Savor Every Slice (page 75) by Alexandra Stafford

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

This had nice flavor, but was a bit dense. I did substitute whole-wheat flour for the white-wheat flour (as the recipe said I could). I ate this buttered straight from the oven, then as toast the following few days. I didn’t use it for sandwiches as I had originally intended. Next time I will use the white-wheat flour and see if it makes more of a sandwich-bread texture.

A perfectly fine, somewhat coarse, whole wheat sandwich bread, good for minimal effort. Note that the instructions call for extra water which is not listed in the ingredients - at first I didn't notice that, but realized the dough was too dry and had to stir it in at the end, which took a fair amount of muscle.
