Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    Very moist cake, and despite all the ginger, not overly gingery on the palate. Very reminiscent of a cake we used to buy commercially in the UK - if anyone else recalls the McVities Jamaican ginger cake. It was a mongrel to get out of the bundt tin, so I'll double spray or use a lined loaf tin next time.
