    I did peel the ginger. Maybe I'll follow her recommendation to leave the peels on next time to see the difference. I froze by the tablespoon in an ice cube trace. Very useful to have on hand.

    Helpful to make in advance and keep in the freezer. I've started making it with twice as much garlic as ginger, as that seems to be the ratio called for most often in her recipes.
