    Can substitute yellow onions for shallots, ground ginger for ginger, vegetable broth for chicken broth, and parsley for Parmesan cheese.

    I think this needed at least double the cumin and ginger. Used homemade chicken stock. The lemon juice saved the dish. Added sliced scallions and Costco shredded chicken as other versions allow for meats to be included.
