    Can substitute chicken broth for seafood broth, and dry white wine for dry vermouth.

    It's a wonder this turned out at all with the changes I made. I used fettuccine and smaller shrimp (31-40), deveined but still in their shells which I hoped would protect them. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the shrimp was just a little more done than I would have liked. The flavours were good, family liked it very much, and I didn't have to heat up my kitchen to make it!
