Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    Great flavor, satisfyingly hearty. Leaving the pot uncovered in the oven wasn't very successful - the rice overcooked on the bottom and undercooked on top. Better to cover next time. Start with 1.5 tsp salt. Check out the version from HTCE 20th Anniversary (search online), which is somewhat different.
