    The photo of ratatouille's ratatouille reminded me immediately of Greek briam which I've usually seen as carefully arranged upright slices. (Yes, I know that's not the only form but when you have a Greek mother-in-law, her way is the way you know.) Then I turned the page to pictures of nine variations labeled "ratatians". I recommend that you get the small bell peppers so their size is compatible with the other ingredients. The simple seasoning tomato-garlic-shallot-oregano was brilliant. This makes a simple but impressive dish for family dinners. I'm already thinking Thanksgiving.
