French dip sandwich [Phillippe The Original] from Los Angeles Cult Recipes (page 68) by Victor Garnier Astorino

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Recipe found https://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/french-dipped-sandwiches-recipe2-1972962. We love the original French Dip sandwiches at Phillipe’s in LA. I have been making this recipe for a while and adjusted few things. I reduce clove and allspice to 1/4 tsp, increase garlic to 2-3 cloves, add Montreal seasoning, Worcestershire sauce and 32 oz beef stock. Use eye round beef, crank up the heat to 500F for initial 10 min and reduce down to 300F until it reaches 132F internal temp using temp probe. Add Johnny’s concentrated au jus to taste. Make a day ahead for easier thin slicing. For bread, I use bolillo rolls found in most stores in California. I like adding grilled onion too in the sandwich. It is sooo delish!! Photo added.
