Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    We liked this one too. But, my veg & chicken took much longer than indicated in the recipe. I think I let my veg cook for about 12 minutes. And honestly, my carrots were still leaning toward the too-firm side. 6-8 minutes is not long enough to saute carrots through. Not a big deal, but I had this happen in another recipe in the book too. So, I take the timing of these recipes with a grain of salt.

    My guests declared this a hit. A very simple soup that delivers clean uncomplicated flavors. What is that underlying flavor? Bay leaves! The headnote suggested using celeriac and I'm glad I did.
