Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    "Takes the cake" but NOT in a good way! Absolutely the worst cake I have ever made. I would NOT recommend it. You can't taste the peanut butter, the cake is overly sweet.. and "mud" is a misnomer.. a complete and utter waste of ingredients, time & money (and I consider myself a pretty good cook!). Three slices cut for coffee and cake and the rest is going to the compost bin. It's the second time I've made a Phoebe Wood cake and the second !@#p cake. If only Valli Little were still around.
