    This was very tasty and not complicated to make. I don't know why it was recommended for picknicks as they are completely unstackable and thus very difficult to get to the picknick unscathed. Something for a big garden party. I made the filling the day before, which worked beautifully. The amount of oil needed to fry the eggplants in made it totally unnecessary to drizzle on more oil in the end.
