    Liked the crunchiness of the salad - but didn’t think the dressing was that good or worth the effort Would do a version of it again with a different dressing

    Delish! Stored extra shaved (undressed) veg in water in fridge for another salad the following day! Will definitely make again! Added saffron to the dressing as suggested and it was delish!

    Very good, crunchy salad. I added a pinch of saffron and used very flavorful, soft Medjool dates. We felt that the salad needed more dressing -- probably just more lemon and olive oil, not more dates.
