    Can substitute ground cumin and ground cayenne pepper for chipotle powder, and white rice for brown rice.

    Like any bowl, this has multiple components, so it takes some pretty concentrated work while the rice cooks, but it was fresh and delicious. The black bean recipe embedded within it is something I’ll make to spruce up regular black beans in future— so good! The crema tastes a lot like tahini if that’s the version you use — I like tahini, but I’ll try the sour cream version next time to see if the other flavors come through more.
