    Can substitute vegetable oil for rapeseed oil, and can use the all-purpose seasoning on page 239. See recipe for variations.

    This contains so many powdered spices That I had to add water to dilute it Otherwise, it would have been grainy. Also, I added the hard vegetables before adding the bell peppers and tomatoes. This was good, because the hard vegetables took a lot longer to soften and the peppers would have been mushy and unappealing.
