Can substitute other tart cherries in liquid for bottled Morello cherries, brandy for cherry brandy, and semisweet chocolate for bittersweet chocolate in ganache. Cherries must sit at room temperature for at least 12 hours and up to 24 hours before using in recipe. Completed cake can be refrigerated for 5 days or frozen for 3 months.
