Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    I've used this recipe a couple of times to make preserved lemons. It's so easy, and the results are perfect for adding funky, salty lemon flavor to a variety of dishes. In my experience, one jar can keep well in the refrigerator for a couple of years at least.
