Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    I wish I had paid attention to the other user's notes that the strawberries were too sweet. I agree--less sugar would have been nice. We liked it, but honestly, we just don't love cooked strawberries. I won't make again due to our preferences, but the recipe was decent.

    Very nice and simple dessert. I cut the recipe in half since I didn’t have that many strawberries and there are only two of us. The topping was really good, and preparation was quite easy, with good instructions. I thought there could have been about half as much sugar, as the strawberries wound up being quite sweet - and it’s not even the season yet so the berries weren’t all that sweet to begin with. I’ll likely make this again, and may try the black pepper option as they suggested.
