Chunky peanut butter and oatmeal chocolate chipsters from Baking - From My Home to Yours (page 73) by Dorie Greenspan

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

This is my go-to signature cookie. So good!

Great cookies. I used the spice amounts given in the recipe and I have to say I enjoy the warm profusion of spice. It somehow doesn't conflict with everything else that's going on. I stuck the dough in the freezer for maybe 30 mins before scooping and baking and they came out perfectly shaped. I'm so used to the archetypes of chocolate chip, peanut butter, and oatmeal raisin cookies that eating these is sort of a trip where every other second your brain sort of changes gears and thinks it's eating something different. The recipe makes a lot of cookies so I'll have plenty to give away to friends!

Road cookie for Idyllwild. Made a half batch and mindful of other reviews dialed back the spice a bit; rather than 1 t cinnamon and 1/4 t nutmeg, I added 3/4 t penzeys pie spice (I'm obsessed) and this was a good amount. Used chunky peanut butter and 3/4 cup of semisweet chocolate chips. I'd use at least a cup next time. Didn't add the optional raisins cuz the combo of peanut butter and raisins does not appeal. They were slightly overbaked at 13 minutes. Let them cool on the cookie sheet for 1 minute. Using my 1 T scoop, I got 35 cookies. Baked 12 and froze the rest.

These are very good cookies! Thanks to previous commenters re: the cinnamon & nutmeg...I’m happy I cut back on both spices. The combo of oatmeal, peanut butter and (in my case) semi sweet chocolate chips is very tasty and yet (somewhat surprisingly) not overly sweet. We both like these.

Taking other notes into account, I cut the nutmeg and halved the cinnamon. I also sprinkled a tiny bit of crunchy salt on top. Also, since the little dude wanted to make cookies immediately NOW NOW NOW, we used coconut oil in place of room temp butter. Oh, and I was out of white sugar so I used all brown. Suffice to say, even with all the changes, they were delicious, I’d make them again, and I’m sneaking the last one while the kidlets nap.

I followed the recipe exactly, although my cookies were slightly larger, so I only got 21 (half recipe). I made the dough a day ahead. Next time I would omit the nutmeg and maybe use less cinnamon, as I felt the spices overpowered the peanut butter and chocolate flavors. I'll definitely make these cookies again - loved the combination of oatmeal, peanut butter, and chocolate.

A really nice cookie. The oatmeal, peanut butter, and chocolate are all well balanced. I would've liked a bit more salt in the cookie. The texture (particularly the next day) is a lot harder than I'd like in a cookie.

These are amazing cookies, all my favorites rolled into one. They're nice and chewy and turned out just fine without refrigerating the dough.

May be my new favorite cookies. How can you go wrong with peanut butter, oatmeal and chocolate chips all together in one cookie!

As Dorie says "These are three really great cookies rolled into one". So if you cannot decide between oatmeal & raisin, peanut butter or chocolate chip, make these.
