Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    The photo of this sandwich in the magazine looked amazingly fresh and delicious, so we had to try them. Wow! Even better than we hoped. Pretty simple, and the vinaigrette was the star of the show. It also helped that I used some really delicious homemade wheat sandwich bread. The only changes I made were to use a bit of olive oil on the bread instead of butter, and grilled the bread in our panini press. I also happened to have some pickled red onions, so I used those in place of raw ones, to make them less harsh. So good, I’m looking forward to having these again.
