Navarin printanier from Around My French Table: More Than 300 Recipes from My Home to Yours (page 281) by Dorie Greenspan

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

I made this with about 1.5 pounds of lamb round as I couldn't find any shoulder. I added a bit more turnip and a bit more potato and about three quarters of the liquid. I also replaced 1 cup of stock with wine. Overall a very nice lamb stew. We especially liked the turnip. Would definitely repeat. Seasoning seemed like it wild he light but the lamb was very flavourful and carried the day. The technique of sautéing the vegetables in butter in advance was also excellent.

Good flavor, better leftovers. Couldn't find lamb shoulder so used leg of lamb. It was only 2 pounds (instead of 3) which I was the right amount of meat for me
