Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    This is a fantastic vanilla ice cream with the texture of a high quality store brand like Häagen-Dazs. Note that my custard base was very nearly at 170° already after mixing it with the egg yolks so I hardly cooked it at all . It wasn't very thick when I stopped cooking it but it was up to temperature so I decided to stop rather than risk curdling the eggs. I am glad that I did because it worked out perfectly. Made a half recipe to fit in my ice cream maker
