    I didn't grow up with this treat, so I don't know what the standard is, but this is essentially two chocolate cupcakes with a vanilla frosting in-between. Foolproof, yet delicate and tasty. Skip the food coloring -- there's no need for it, as the batter is already the right color. Baking time was 16 minutes in my oven.
