    I made the cinnamon swirl variation. I was quite pleased with the bread's texture and the cinnamon sugar swirl. There was a bit of a tendency for the slices to separate along the swirl. Next time I will roll out the dough into a longer rectangle and apply an eggwash before spreading the cinnamon sugar mixture on the dough. This should help prevent the delamination between the cinnamon mix and the dough. Rolling up a longer rectangle will also help distribute the cinnamon mix better in each slice.
