Oat scones from The Cheese Board: Collective Works: Bread, Pastry, Cheese, Pizza by Alice Waters and Cheese Board Collective

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Notes about this recipe

The dough was quite wet, even after resting 10 minutes; I'd foolishly added all the liquid based on other scone doughs from this book. I was able to shape and cut the dough using a generous amount of flour. I only got 9 scones (they're pretty big) despite rolling the dough shorter, maybe 3/4-1". I substituted golden raisins for the currants. The scones were fairly moist and tasty with just the right sweetness, but probably not my favorite oat scones.
