    My first time making a brown betty and I think this is now my new go-to dessert recipe for apple season!! Layers instead of just a crust or topping is a new concept for me. Loved the flavor, the texture inside and on top, really everything. I don't eat a lot of sweets so could probably cut back on brown sugar a bit, but then again my apples were more sweet than tart so that should be taken into consideration in future. The spices were on point for me. I so wanted to have a bowl for breakfast this morning but restrained myself. Looking forward to it later though:)
