  • sugar
  • berries of your choice

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Notes about this recipe

Used a mix of red and black currants with a little bit of raspberry. I chose this recipe which uses more sugar than many others because currants are so sour. Increased the water to 2/3 of a cup and would do again next time. The flavor was very intense and def not watered down. Omitted lemon since the berries were sour.
